The next Steering Group meeting of the civil society and government representatives will be held on Thursday 4th October, 1.30pm - 3pm in Edinburgh. Venue: Hemma (73 Holyrood Road, Edinburgh, EH8 8AU).
The purpose of the meeting is to consider the potential draft commitments that have been developed from what we heard during the public engagement and discussions. As secretariat, we will be asking members to consider any gaps, and the ambitiousness and transformative potential of the commitments, as well as where civil society and government can work toegther in implementation and delivery over the next two years. We will share comments from the discussions, to be refined before submitting for sign off from the Scottish Cabinet at end of October.
The meeting will be held in a publicly open venue and we welcome any of you as observors to attend.
We are going to web-stream some snippets from the event and with members, and will share a note of the meeting afterwards, including comments and feedback on the commitments for the action plan.
Please let us know if you plan to come along and have any accessibility queries as we’re currently planning on using the upstairs space - drop us a line at ingage@gov.scot or on 0131 244 7963.
