Reminder: Sign up to our crowdsourcing events to shape Scotland's OpenGov Action Plan

Scotland%20Action%20Plan

Afternoon

This is a reminder for those interested in shaping Scotland’s Open Government Action Plan to sign up to one or more of our five events taking place in partnership with the Scottish Government and facilitated by the Scottish Community Development Centre (SCDC)

Let us know you’re coming along by registering (links below):

Dundee – Thurs 9th August, 1-3.30pm Register here (supported by The Circle)
Glasgow - Mon 13th August, 1-3:30pm Register here (supported by GCVS)
Inverness – Wed 15th August, 1-3.30pm Register here (supported by Highland TSI)

Final event: a bigger scale event to try to refine and distill what has been heard across Scotland to identify the key priorities for the Action Plan commitments

Edinburgh – Tues 21st August, 9.30-1pm Register here

We are also co-hosting an informal workshop, organised by Scottish Government, COSLA and PB Scotland, to discuss how participatory budgeting can help make government in Scotland more open, transparent and accountable:

Edinburgh - Thurs 16th August, 1-3:30pm Register here

You can still have your say even if you’re unable to attend one of our events. Head over to ideas.gov.scot/open-government to browse and comment on those ideas already suggested and submit your own. Whether it’s related to open data, civic engagement, access to information, budget transparency or something completely different, we need your ideas to shape Scotland’s second Open Government Action Plan.

We look forward to seeing you at one or more of our events!
