Today TI-UK launches Open Access : a searchable online tool which enables users to easily find any official meeting between lobbyists and UK government ministers that has been declared by government departments.
You can view the tool now at: http://openaccess.transparency.org.uk
If you spot any glitches or issues that need resolving, let me know and I’ll send you the link to report them so we can work on them as they arise.
Things to note when using:
- This only covers meetings held in an “official” capacity. Unfortunately, meetings held in a ministers’ personal capacity – even if with lobbyists – are not currently reported.
- Use the search bar to search for lobbyists, ministers and subjects. To look at gov departments overall, click on the links under the ‘department’ heading.
