Open Government Week (OGW) is a global initiative that is for all who believe that citizens should play a role in how government makes decisions. This year, OGP will be focusing on gender and inclusion as key priorities. OGW will run from 11 - 17 March 2019.
The UK Government would like to use Open Government Week as an opportunity to seek feedback from the public on the most effective and inclusive methods of implementation of OGP commitments.
They aim to:
- demonstrate the use of open data that is already available;
- crowdsource ideas from the members of the public on the implementation of the OGP commitments;
- ensure that no one is left behind and provide safe and inclusive space for all members of the open government data community to share their views and suggestions.
