[ogp] Call for application - Civic Charter Community Workshop, w/c 4 March 2019 in Thailand

Dear all,
for the fourth time the International Civil Society Centre is organizing the Civic Charter Community Workshop. This is a space for those identifying and working with the Civic Charter to come together and learn from each other how to strengthen their struggle for citizen participation. The workshop will bring together key activists to exchange information and learn from each other how best to use the Civic Charter to promote their local and national agenda and to enhance international solidarity. The workshop will provide resources and training for activists and their organisations in order to improve the effectiveness of their work defending the space for civil society to operate.
We are looking for motivated civic activists and CSO colleagues who are ready to join forces and work together using the Civic Charter for defending people’s rights to participate in shaping their societies.

If you are interested in joining our workshop please submit a short application by 4 January 2019. Limited funding is available to cover travel, visa costs and accommodation.
We encourage diversity and especially welcome applications from women and youth.
