12-month rolling programme of MSFs - Developing the 6th National Action Plan for Open Government (2024 – 2025)

@KevinKeith The last update on developing the UK’s 6th National Action Plan for Open Government was on 22nd June 2023, and time is marching on.

In Minister Burghart’s letter dated 29th June 2023 to Sanjay Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer of the
Open Government Partnership the minister said:

“We are putting in place the right conditions to meet the new OGP minimum participation standards for NAP6, including having a 12-month rolling programme of MSFs and a clear focus for each meeting.”

Are these monthly MSF’s taking place, and if not, please can the UK OGP Steering Committee urgently take the matter up with the Cabinet Office? If the MSFs are taking place, please can the read-outs from them be published ASAP.

Chris

Hi Chris.

Thanks for this.

Re: the 12 month rolling programme, this was referring to there being diarised meetings on a 12 month rolling basis, not that they would be monthly (typically MSFs are quarterly).

The next MSF is scheduled mid to late October as set out in the ‘Next steps’ of the readout from the last Multi-Stakeholder Forum: https://opengovernment.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Copy-of-2023-06-22-MSF-June-2023-Read-out-1.pdf

Appreciate relative radio silence re the MSF process so will post an update in coming weeks.

Many thanks

Kevin
