# Vote on amendment to bring ARIA under FOI

Dear all,

It’s report stage of the Advanced Research and Invention Agency Bill in the House of Lords this evening.

As the Bill stands ARIA will be excluded from the Freedom of Information Act altogether. We are encouraging peers to support Amendment 6 in the name of Lord Clement-Jones, which would make ARIA subject to FOIA.
